The families from our Sunday School class decided to meet for bowling the other night. It was lots of fun! This was Elizabeth's 2nd time bowling, and Liam's 1st. Here are the pics to recap:
As soon as we arrived, Liam wanted to run right for it! He even started running right down the lane toward the pins--I had to run to stop him--lol. The entire night he had a field day just running up and down the steps, getting on and off the chairs, running here and there. He was so happy to just be out for some fun.
Elizabeth did a great job bowling!
Both kids used the little ramp-thingymabobber to roll their bowling ball. Even with the ramp, those balls move SO slow. After an hour and a half, we never finished one full game--lol.
Liam loved watching his ball roll down to hit the pins... when it would finally hit the pins, we'd all yell, "Yay!"
And when someone got a strike or a spare--we'd "Raise the Roof" lol!
Last but not least, I could leave without snapping a pic of Liam in his bowling shoes.Too stinkin' CUTE!
Anyway, it was a fun time w/our Sunday School class-and a fun time w/the kids! I think, perhaps, the funniest part was on the way home Elizabeth couldn't get over all the lights all over town (the bowling alley we went to is one town over, and slightly bigger than ours--but not by much). Had to laugh when she said something to the effect of, "Wow, Mom! I love all the lights in the big city!" So cute!
