Being a mom is so much fun!
I mean, really, what other job on the planet do you get to hang out with your friends at a puppet theater all morning?
Meet The Three Little Fishies: Caroline, Elizabeth, and Delanie
The "story" was about three little fish who don't listen to their mama and end up in the deep, dangerous part of the ocean. It was a fun performance with lots of singing and dancing!
Half way through some of the kids got called up on stage. When pal Delanie was called, Elizabeth decided she was going to go, too! That's her above trying to figure out why she can't be a "mermaid."

It was so cute because you could see this look of pride on her face when she was up there!
Liam sat on my lap and took it all in. At one point when the "kissey" fish came out, he started pointing and laughing and getting really excited. This lasted about a minute, then he popped his thumb back in his mouth and sat quietly the rest of the show--lol! I love that boy!
And I love being a mom! It can be exhausting at times, but honestly, it doesn't really get much better than puppet shows and pizza afterward to make for a great day!
