Daddy's Surgery -- Update

Well, I never got around to posting about Vassil's surgery. Life has been crazy, hectic these days.

Anyway, he's doing great. It was a fairly minor surgery on his sinuses--to remove polyps and to clean out a clogged sinus passage. They thought they might also have to repair a deviated septum (which usually causes the most pain/swelling) but it ended up that it wasn't needed after all.

Daddy's friend Eli was gracious enough to take him to the hospital and bring him home, so I didn't have to worry about finding sitters for the kids (or hauling them with me to the hospital). Fortunately, the pain meds really helped and after a few days he is feeling MUCH better!
