Shots!

The only thing worse than getting a shot, is watching your baby get one.

I learned that lesson this Tuesday, as Elizabeth was pricked not once, not twice, but three times. Although it was comforting to know that she will be safe from things ranging from polio to the rotavirus, it still was torture for her parents to watch. Thankfully that was the worst of it. The rest of the day she mainly slept and ate. Although, she did wake up a few times her typical, happy self, and then seemed to remember that she was in pain, and would (in mid-smile mind you) begin screaming all over again. Fortunately, no fever or other side effects. While at the doctor we also got some new stats. Her current weight is 11.11 lbs (75 percentile); height 24'' (95 percentile), and head 16'' (80 percentile).

Although she is still a bit fussy, we are hoping she will be back to her old self very soon!
