Mother Goose had more energy than the toddlers! She danced, she sang, she danced some more! She even had instruments for the kids to play (above is Elizabeth with the spoons), along with a live band! Elizabeth was a bit leery of Ol' Mother Goose. Rather than join in all the excitement, for once Elizabeth chose to take it all in from a safe distance ;)
Below is Elizabeth shaking a fruit-shaped maraca. Mother Goose then led the children in a conga around the stage area. Elizabeth, however, wasn't quite sure what was going on... so she just ran off and right into Mitchell's Hair Salon.
For most of the performance, Elizabeth seemed puzzled at the silly lady who stood before her. While Mother Goose pranced about, Elizabeth stood motionless for several minutes just staring and trying to figure her out... finally, she decided she'd had quite enough, and off she went.
So much for Mother Goose! Maybe next time :)
