In case you were wondering, Elizabeth is a very happy and content baby (most of the time). She began giving gas smiles in the hospital, and every smile since then has put mommy and daddy on edge, trying to determine if it was a true smile, or just a biologically influenced one. This weekend, however, there has been no mistaking it! The first "real" smile (or so we think) was at daddy. Then came the giggling at what appeared to be the lamp while mommy was holding her (go figure a lamp is more entertaining than dear ol' mom). But now Elizabeth has been smiling at all of us... especially when she hasn't seen someone for awhile. So far, I haven't been able to capture her beautiful, gummy grin on camera... but here is a picture of our sweet, happy child, in a half-way smile. Enjoy! I know we do!
