It is hard to believe that Elizabeth is one month old (and then some)! Lots of things have changed for all of us in one short month. Life for Mommy and Daddy has been completely turned upside down (of course for the better, despite the bags under the eyes)... and life for Elizabeth has been full of so many changes and new experiences.
Over the last month it has been so amazing to watch her learn about the world around her. For example, she loves to stare at faces, but also at things around the house. The downstairs curtains along with the ceiling fan and the fabrics on the couch and also on her changing table are her personal favorites. But lately she has also discovered that her swing not only moves her to and fro, but that above her also spins some little critter friends... and she loves to stare up at them, with mouth gaping open in awe, as if thinking, "Wow! You guys are amazing!" Watching her as she watches the world around her and learns about things with such awe and wonder has been so cool... it's almost as though you, as a parent, also get to see the world for the first time all over again, or at least are reminded of it was like to look at new things with such curiosity and intrigue.
At any rate, Mommy & Daddy are so proud of their little girl and hope that all her life long she continues to be awed and amazed at the wonderful things God has created all around us. And that she will continue to be such a happy and healthy little girl!
