This weekend was full of lots of surprises!
Like SNOW!
We woke up from naps... and there it was! It was totally unexpected, which is the best kind!
This wasn't Liam's first snow, although I doubt he remembers his first. When we got him from his crib and took him to the window to show him the snow, he was still a little sleepy--but when he saw the snow, the sweetest look of surprise and wonder filled his face. He reached out his hand as if to try to touch it.
We decided to let the kids play outside for a bit. I don't think Liam could move in his little snowsuit--lol! OH, and just so no one worries, right after these pics, I ran in and grabbed the gloves.
This weekend was also special because, Grandpa "Dedo" came for a visit! This was even MORE exciting than snow!
He brought with him Christmas presents, which we decided would be better to open with him here to see, rather than wait for Christmas. They LOVED everything. Liam's favorite was a little toy truck from Bulgaria--he was looking all over for it this morning, "Where? Where go?"
By far, Elizabeth's favorite was this gift from Aunt Kalina... FAIRIES! She hasn't put them down since opening the box!
Of course, nothing quite beats the giant bag all the presents came in--lol! Might have been the best gift of all!
Anyway, Christmas came a little early over here--grandpa, gifts, and SNOW! Doesn't get much better than that!
