You've gotta love snow in the South! Despite the fact that the snow fell on Saturday and the main roads were cleared by Sunday, public schools in the area were closed on Monday, Tuesday, AND Wednesday, with a two-hour delay on Thursday!!! CRAZY!!!
We played outside some. Here's Elizabeth's first snow angel.
And her first snowman
It was hard to make a snowman because the snow didn't pack well and was pretty icy. We waited until Thursday to make this snowman as everything was starting to melt and was easier to pack together! Liam sat in the stroller while Sissy and I worked on Frosty.
Here he is chillin on top of the snow! He is still SO little, and the snow was so icy, he could sit right on top without sinking into it!
Back inside, we spent the week playing a million board games, reading a bazillion books, playing dress up, working on some crafts and other activities from our Preschool-Coop, and waiting (and praying) for everything to clear and Mr. Sun to return!!! As you can see from the pics above, Mommy and Sissy must have REALLY been suffering from some bad cabin fever when we decided Liam would make a really cute Snow White! Lol! Thank goodness everything has melted! I sure hope the warm weather returns soon... we are getting a bit stir crazy!
