Inch Worm

Elizabeth is getting more balance with sitting by the day, and even more strength while on her tummy. With that said, she hasn't quite mastered pushing her torso all the way up, which is needed for crawling. Despite this, she is obviously ready to be on the move. So to help propel herself forward, our ever-inventive daughter has started using her face.

Yes, I said face... her beautiful face I might add (as you can see from this picture). At any rate, it is one of the funniest, yet cleverest things I've ever seen. When a toy is just out of reach of her little raking grasp, she will burrow her face on the floor, stick out her behind, and inch forward. She literally looks like an inch-worm in doing so. And after performing this move, the toy that was once just to the tips of her fingers, is now within reach.

I don't think it will be long before she gains the strength to push herself up and will then be on the go. I can only imagine how exhausted we will be then!
